Should I be able to use unredeemed gift (for another GA, myself etc')?
This is not easy , you should ask for a new winner on one hand and on the other hand he has the key in his e-mail and can redeem it before you give it to a new winner.
Good thing i'm lazy , that would never happen to me.

I'm brand new to SG, so please forgive my ignorance if this is a dumb question... Why do you or anyone else use email to send the gift? I have only gifted a few games so far, but I have just been using SG to give a key or link to the gift and it seems to work fine. Is there something I'm not aware of yet?
Thanks,
Edit: BTW, thank you for the chance for Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

Okay Im a total newbie at any of this so dont judge harshly but perhaps he's got the key, hasnt activated it because hes trying to sell it or re gift it?
Someone get back to me and confirm its possible to do this, and is it allowed on SteamGifts?

You must activate any game you win on the steam account that is linked to your account here. This is to prevent abuse of the contributor level system. As a new member, you may want to read the info in these 2 links, they explain a lot about how the site works:

Steamprofile-rules are more like guidelones. there's no 3. party to see that those aren't broken so I personally don't care about them.
You may compare it to the pirate code of the curse of the black pearl.
OT: it's a misuse of the received button so it results in a perm ban.

As long as you can confirm on Steam he hasn't activated his gift (Yay, SGTools!) this will look like a potential regifting situation.
Take screenshots, report for non-activation of won gift. Wait patiently for support.
When support grants you a re-roll, use the IndieGala gift link to send it to yourself at an alternate email address. That email address isn't required to have an account on IndieGala. They will just send a confirmation email and a return link to a page where the Steam key is revealed. Once you've got that key, your prior winner can no longer use the gift link because it's been claimed.
Now you have a nice shiny Steam key you can give to the re-roll winner instead. And it's still marked as a used gift link on your IndieGala account.
Edit: I had an almost similar situation where I was giving away games that had been free in the past and you couldn't make GAs for. I gave the IndieGala gift link to a guy who requested said game, and he never accessed it. Five days later after feeling annoyed that the gift link was still unclaimed, I sent it to one of my other email addresses and got the key, then dropped it on the orphaned keys thread. The original guy never contacted me again. Problem solved.

I'm not sure if this is calling out, so I'll just assume it is, and all you keen detectives can easily figure out who I'm talking about.
Anyway, the situation is this: I've made some bundled games GAs oh, the shame and everything went silky smooth. The bundles were from Indie-gala and I've sent links by email to all the winners who redeemed their wins without any problems... except one (DUN DUN DUNNNN!).
He marked it as received before even getting the email from me, then I've sent him the email, got no response. I've kept checking at Indie-Gala and he didn't redeem it. So I've sent him a friend request on steam and he blocked me :O
Now it's 3 weeks later, the guy hasn't been on SG since and the game is still unredeemed and gathering digital dust.
Kind of frustrating. Another user could have enjoyed the game by now.
So what do you think I should do?
