It will be an Intel i7 3.4Ghz, with 8GB RAM, 2 TB HD and a GeForce GTX670. Is it enough?
Edit: Seriously, I'm asking because I never quite understood about hardware and have been running my current pc since 2005! I wish to know if I can play some cool games in max resolution .-.

EDIT 2: The type of games I wish to play on max resolution are the likes of Skyrim and modern games like it!

Well, I'm in Brazil, and as far as I can see, it'll be very close to 5000BRL. I think it can be converted to something close to 2500 dollars or more. I'm not that good in converting money xD

I wish to play games like Far Cry 3 on max resolution, as I never had the chance to play this generation's games in my PC

Why you call it maximum resolution? You can play it maximum resolution yes, but maybe not maximum specs...and resolution depend on your monitor, from PC depends if your game will be playable having maximum resolution. And I recommend you get 16Gb RAM because 8Gb is very good but in some time will be old, and 2-4Gb Video Card.

Sorry, I keep forgetting. In brazil, we call it "resolução", so I keep mistaking. Thanks though.

If you're serious and don't know the capabilities of that setup; you should be fine with most any game at max settings and max resolution.

Nope you need more of everything like 16 core processor OC'ed at 5.3 ghz, 128 GB RAM, 1PB SSD, and QUAD SLI of the latest flagship GPU.

Goddamit, 128GB are likely to implode my house.

Yes. And do not forget that this kind of PSUs are sold only by ThermalTake and Corsair.

Depends on what resolution you're playing at, what settings, and what framerates you desire. 1080p and below, should be fine. You'll be getting near 60fps and/or above on most games, maxed/near max. I have nearly the same GPU(a bit stronger), and an i5 3570k @ 4.4ghz. Which i7 are you getting exactly? Guessing a 2600k? Either way, should be fine. What're your other specs? Mobo? PSU? I can max out FC3 @ 1080p with no AA, always 60 fps.

Just took a look in here. It says my processor is an Intel i7 3770. Thanks for the help! (about the rest of the specs, I don't understand them quite so well, what is a mobo and a PSU?

Ah kk, should be fine. Mobo = motherboard, PSU = Power Supply Unit.

edit: in response to your edit, Skyrim is easily maxed out on our GPU.

Allright, as I've seen here, the motherboard is varying from shop to shop I'm thinking about building the pc. For now, I think I'll stick with an Asus P8277-m, which I have no fucking idea of what means xD.
The PSU is a 1000W XFX Platinum. Well, that what it says on the paper. And I like platinum stuff :3

You're getting a micro ATX board(hence the M) that isn't capable of full SLI(using two 670s at one time for nearly doubled power), and you're getting a 1000w PSU. All this said, I'm assuming you want to eventually have a multi GPU setup. If you do not. Do yourself a favor, save yourself some money and just get a 550-650w power supply from one of the brands, whether it's Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, or XFX. 1000w is insane overkill enough for three 670s and a major waste of money as you wouldn't even scratch half of it's maximum wattage.

I'm no pro, but it's better than my laptop (i5, 4GB RAM, 320GB HD and the rest is quite unknown to me) and it runs most games smoothly. Not on the highest setting, usually (Just in Just Cause 2 and Saints Row The Third and indie games), but it's hard to know for sure what "enough" is when we don't know what you'll play. But yeah, in my opinion, it's good for most things.

The processor has next to nothing to do with how well you can play games at max resolution. The processor primarily affects things like AI not graphics

I just got pretty much the same setup. I have an i5 instead of an i7, 16 GB of RAM (which is way overkill), and an SSD instead of an HDD. I also overclocked my CPU to 4.2 Ghz and overclocked my GPU some. I can run pretty much everything maxed out at 1080p with 40-60 FPS, so yeah, you'll be fine.

People here is kidding. You'll be able to handle any recent game and the ones that'll come later for a while at max settings. I'm not really aware about prices in Brazil, but $2400 is much high. I made my i7 2600K GTX 560 Ti 8GB RAM DDR3 for +- $1K 1 year and half ago.

yes it should last 5 years if you want a longer lasting pc i'd wait for 2013 haswell cpus since it will be brand new architecture instead of ivy bridge which was a die strink. Also if you want to save 100 USD get an i5-3750K.
