To enter the highest level of Paradise so that I live infinitely there and whatever I want I find in front of me, as this life is a test but the life hereafter is where we enter paradise or hell. Kind of not a wish but a hope and something that I and you should work for because it's granted for those who have good deeds.
That's 1 wish by the way because you are granted everything you'd ever want in Paradise

My guess is that I would start out being benevolent and then through a series of misfortunes caused by unforeseen consequences I would enter a phase of minding my own business until one day I decide to stop being a recluse. Likely on that day due to the fact I would have dwelt on my mistakes for so long that I would have become twisted, bitter and uncaring and use my power to amuse myself to try to chase away the crippling depression for one fleeting moment.

I wish, I could change fundamental constants one at a time, to observe the impact on physics :)

Frankly, to rid myself of my awfull lazyness so i can actually be a productive person for once in my goddamn life instead of waiting till the very last minute and ending up messing everything up, becoming more self conscious and anxious everytime it happens.

The good news is that you're in control of your own wish-- not many of us can say that. I wish you the best in that quest.

I understand older relatives pass away... and may my gma and gpa rest in peace... But if I could have one wish, I would tell a dear friend how wonderful she was, and how many people love her, and how beautiful she was and as hard as shit may get sometimes, it's worth being there. Those who take their own lives, it's something that really haunts you forever.

Everything as it is now, except to have all of my current and future bills paid, instantly, the moment they are incurred.

I'd probably wish to remove the pain and suffering I've caused people I've f**ked over in life.

I get your point. What is worth wishing for? Life is worth living already. So, you can wish for some things you don't have, but it won't really change your life much.
You could wish for a good death for all your loved ones - so, no murders or war or childhood disease, etc., just a natural death of old age.
You could wish for a chance to do over some things you did badly that damaged or ended relationships.
You could wish for the erasure of your debts, so that you can take the strain off your relationships.
You see where I'm going. Good relationships are worth more than all else. And you can wish for things that will aid those relationships. it's difficult to wish for good relationships directly becuase you are half of each relationship. Half is up to you. Half is up to another free person.
I might wish for money. I have a lot of stuff to spend money on right now and I don't want to go further into debt. A new house. We are moving my parents in with us (in 2 weeks!). I have a new baby coming in September and we need a new car. My children will all be entering school in the next several years. Etc.
Maybe I wish for better health. Mine is not so good, and it is a constant struggle for my wife and me.
Or I could wish for airplane miles, so that I could visit my siblings. They live far away, and they could use my help sometimes. That is one thing that will not change for a long time without a wish.
So, there. I have found my wish: airline miles so I can afford to travel more often to see my loved ones and be able to visit and help them.
So... what's your one wish? (I only read the first two pages, so forgive me if I missed it!)

i see your point, these are really good wishes.
honestly? i didnt say mine because it was depressing, was hoping for a cheerful post
i lost my best friend recently, a cat called leo, he was literally the reason i smile, his death crushed me, i still didnt accept his death
all i want is to know, in the short period he had with me, was he happy?
because i cant sleep at night thinking about that

Happiness is a human concept, animals are not happy or unhappy, at least not to the extent we humans are. As long as you were nice to him and he had all his basic needs covered (such as enough food, a clean toilet and something to play with), i'm sure he had a good time being with you.
I lost my 1 yo kittie recently due to a fucked up cancer... I know it's hard.
Cheer up, mate :)

I wish water would never splash my ass anymore when I take a dump...
Comment has been collapsed.
Pro tip: throw some toilet paper into the toilet bowl before taking a dump.
Comment has been collapsed.
I know that tip, but it seems like a waste of paper
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, you can either throw it in the bowl to stop the splash or use it to wipe the water off your ass afterwards. You're still using the same amount of paper. And it's not like you need to throw much in there, a single piece (if you have pre cut toilet paper) is enough to dampen the impact. It's all very scientific :D

Hm, fair point, but a more important question: what kind of person DOESN'T have pre-cut TP??? o.O
