People would learn the difference between " I don't like" and " it's shit/trash" and could appreciate general quality at the same time, because it would reduce the arguements by a lot. Like I hate racing games, but that won't make Forza and others shit. People got way too self-centered and at the same time identifying with their liked things, so generally they are more likely to shit on other's opinions while getting super upset if someone does it with their opinion. It would be nice to reverse this.

Wishes always come with a cost. I'd settle for a stipend of $2,000 a week. No need to extra wishes. Just a way to alleviate my income based stress/depression

the wish for "immortality" of some people is very interesting. the human mind isn't made for existing forever. Reading the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles would help to understand (:
I'd like to have the ability to teleport whenever I want to, within seconds. That would help me a lot actually 😸
and if I need money, I teleport into a bank. whooooooshhh. gone. with the moneyz. :P

I probably have a lot of selfish wishes like many other people. Like not being sick, being happy, being rich, etc.
I guess the best wish I could make is that the human species never existed. It would be better for all other life on this planet, and at least they would have a fair chance to survive.
But then again. Because I am a human myself, I could have never made that wish because I never existed. So we end up in an unfortunate paradox and space and time seizes to exist.
Well done DarkCrusnik... You felt the need to create a thread and now the whole universe will be gone/never existed. :P

I would wish that every day, for the rest of my life starting today, to improve - or me to improve daily (to become a better human being, to become healthier, wiser, stronger, faster, smarter, kinder, more helpful, more insightful, etc. - not necessarily all of those things everyday, but something has to improve - perceptibly so - from the day before) and for my circumstances to improve daily. Continual betterment for the rest of my life. Which, given the nature of the wish, should be a long time. :)

I don't really get the point of having "this" kind of wishes anyway. In most cases there is always a bad side to something you wish for, if it is for your own good. Like immortality... this is the last thing I would want. I don't like the idea of getting the earth destroyed by a meteor and me floating around in space dying all over again.
Another one that sounds good at first might be... make everyone understand the other one and behave accordingly. Well... that would imply that my own way of thinking and behaving would be the ultimate way and all should behave that way... I can't think of something more discriminating and narcissistic than this... still the idea of having a society, that is able to live alongside without conflicts is a great idea... yet it will probably cost each others individuality.
I think, the only wish that I really care about, is for me to be able to achieve my aims (wishes) through my own power, without loosing myself on the way to achieve them. Well and maybe to be a little bit more consequent with myself... slacking off is a curse ^^
To give up on a wish for someone else... I suppose that happens a lot anyway. Depending how big you scale this, I suppose I would rather answer with "no". Usually it is more fulfilling to give up on something, just to make someone else happy. I most cases it always depends on the situation. To visit an opera instead of a movie to make someone happy... well.... yeah, I guess I can wait for the DVD or go some other time in case it's not the last show.
Sadly people tend to overlook the good "small" things in life, which makes a lot of them very unsatisfied in/with life.
