It is nice that you contribute and it increases your chances to win (in contributer giveaways). Anyways, you should not enter these 50$ giveaways, because chances to win are low in these. Also, try to enter more giveaways- I won my first with 400 entered

I won first after 2000 enteris, now have cca 2800 and have 6 wins but no one public (2800 no public win) u must join some groups and contribute in group, inc. your win chance.

Enter more giveaways; look at the number of entrants, and that will give you an idea how likely you are to win. I didn't win for a long time, then I won, then I didn't win for a long time, then I think I won 2 pretty close to each other. It is just odds.

join groups, solve puzzles, search for private giveaways on forums ;)

well mostly what ozo said.. I also dont have any luck at public,but most of my wins are in group ones.. 2,7k entries and 11 wins..

I think you get the picture. To win games on this site you need to work for them. I visit the site every single day. I use Steamgifts Plus to filter out games I don't want. I never enter giveaways that could be a scam or have over 3000 entries.

Statistically you won't win many. If there are only 100 entries (extremely rare) you only have a 1% chance of winning. 500 entries (an average amount of entries) you have 0.5% chance. In 1000 entries your odds are 0.1%. In big entries for big name games it's easily 5,000 entries and your odds are 0.05%. I've won two giveaways, one was a developer giveaway of Dwarfs! and there were so many he was giving away it was like between 25-50% chance of winning. The other one I think was a late night giveaway that someone set for an hour, so it was a quick giveaway during a slow time. Your best chance is to check often and try to find one hour giveaways, and times like the middle of the night can also get you better odds. So if you are here to get free games quickly, you are better to save up six bucks and buy a bundle on one of the bundle sites like humble bundle, bundle stars, indie gala, etc. If you are willing to put in about 10 minutes a day you will eventually win something, but like I said the odds are very low.

Don't go in expecting a win. I never expect to see a win and I'm always right. That way you won't be disappointed when you lose.

My first won giveaway(on another site) had more than 6000 entries and only one copy, it was after day from the registry but unfortunately just a cheap game ;)

On SG I won one cheap game after more than 600 entries and 6 GA created.
