The CPU was probably dead already. It worked in the BIOS/2D mode but when the driver is on it basically tries to initialise all the features and one of them doesn't work properly causing the crash.

emmmm i see :o oh i forgot , only when i use the old driver and when it crash it shows me a blue screen of death dumping memory or something like that

i have an old gpu the msi n430gt 2g oc ddr3 ( i know its a fossil lol ) i wanted to use its in a spare pc but after i installed the latest driver and rebooted the pc and each the welcome screen (win7) it freezes then crash and reboot again, i tried also old drivers (the one that came with the card) but i get the same problem
im sure the gpu is dead now but i wanted to know whats the problem with it :o
