Probably desperate to keep people playing or maybe the player count is down. They usually try to keep people playing right before new DLC comes out because nothing is going on and people don't really have a reason to play.
If my friends weren't still playing I would honestly only get on during events.

Is definitively not a friendly game in general but specially is hugely excruciating for new players. Most people play one or two weeks unless they have someone who carried them or end really invested into the game.
Most perks and reworks are thought around that playerbase and still the numbers dwell, more or less, but are lower and lower... So far only Resident Evil DLCs have been a success in terms of playerbase, new killers are harder to see except when they are out.
Most players just come back to try events or changes for a couple of days, this is the reality of DBD.
I might be biased because, even if I still play this game pretty regularly, I truly hate it.

I've waited +1h on a streamer Twitch channel joining the comapaign, there was no progression regarding %. Asking on chat, the streamer himself said to me that's because I have to be Amazon Prime sub to get those items :(

They probably lied to bait a (prime) sub from you. I am at 92% of the third drop (3h) and thus I already have the other two. I neither have Amazon/Twitch prime, nor am I subbed to the channel I am watching.

The truth is, Twitch Drops don't work as smooth as in the past anymore and i had several cases, where i had to refresh Streams multiple times in an hour until the % started counting, this was also the case this time, it has nothing to do with Amazon Prime, Prime Gaming or being a sub or not, you got scammed.

Dude they've accidentally added cosmetics to people's inventories before as bugs, including a twitch shirt that people weren't supposed to receive. If it were a gift they would've announced it as such (which they always do).
I said that right now you can mix and match the cosmetics even though it's classified as a set. Once the bug is fixed you won't be able to mix/match them anymore with other cosmetics and it'll be removed from your inventory if you didn't buy it. If you want proof that it's a bug you can go ask on the official forum (if it hasn't already been asked before).

Because to me, it's obvious it's a bug. I have 11k hours in the game and have been playing since release. Have finished every rift and been around for every event and done pretty much everything besides get legacy cosmetics (cuz I wasn't playing much when you had to grind for them). It's just not something that I consider as needing proof since it's a very BHVR thing for the devs to do and exactly the kind of bugs they're known for. Anything that happens like that is usually unintentional unless announced by them

Not that I want to argue, but it could be a bug.
Lots of bugs happened after this patch, including Jane's twitch shirt being available for people (which is only for certain streamers).
But I would be happy if this was a gift. (just don't want to see you guys arguing when no one really knows what the outfit is for)
