Ok, I was one that was glad that there were a bunch of different bundles, but now its starting to feel like a bad cash grab.

It's ok, I'm sick of seeing so many bundles, too.

well.....they are using the free bundle to advertise their games on the bottom of the page. The ones at the bottom cost like 5 bucks ...well at least one of them does.

This one's completly free. But titles like "Unnamed Sandbox Game" makes me think these aren't the best games out there.

Yeah..I just sorta assumed it was another pay one, nice for free, I would download...but my indie backlog is stupid big now.

I have to sympathize with them. They are just indie developers that don't get enough exposure (after all, Team Meat, and others are not the only indie developers out there) trying to get people to play their games.

Nope. That's the point of the bundle. I have absolutely no idea if those games are good or not, but they did this just to generate more exposure.

Do any of these games regularly cost money?

I actually played Robot Unlock a long time ago and found it to be a seriously fun* game.

Well, they are FREE for the taking^^ No money involved whatsoever on that "bundle". They're just advertising other Indies.

I'm not gonna lie, when I read the game names I assumed this was a joke thread. But it's not. But still:

Super Bogus World?

Unnamed Sandbox Game?

Next Time I Won't Trust The Man In The White Van?

Really?

They're not just free, they're free"ware". So you would never even HAVE to pay. It's just a little publicity for a few one-man devs, calm down.

These are very very early works by amateur game developers. Not that it's a bad thing, always good to see new blood in the industry but don't expect too much from these games. Most of these would have been made as a means of testing a concept or code by the developers rather than being a full standalone game.

Lone Boss and Cub does sound like an interesting concept and although I haven't played it yet I want to see further development of the idea.
