Mostly, I want to know if you had trouble with WiFi, it's a pain in the ass, it loves to drop connection one second and work at perfect condition another. Is there anything that could be done about it?

Lol I know it's kinda random, but maybe someone knows how to fix it. :P

As soon as you said netgear I could answer yes. Go get a good router like a cisco. (as just one example of good ones)

Or a Linksys with Linux on board so you can flash DD-WRT or something. :D

I used one of those myself for awhile but my Cisco E4200 has never given me one issue and has performed rock solid

I've got to try their newer series of consumer routers, but I have been eyeing them up.

I had a netgear adapter that caused my PC to bluescreen.
