Favorite Free Software/Open Source games?

Not sure if I would consider these games, but I guess people find different ways to entertain themselves. ;p

+1 Dwarf Fortress. I try so hard to get others to play it, but they get turned away by its graphics and learning curve, they never give it a chance.

Indeed! It was great before that shameful situation when the original author sold the game along with its name ignoring community (which undoubtedly had a major participation in the game creation). But the community forked the game and now it is called Xonotic and plays just as great as original Nexuiz.

7-zip never worked for me, I use J-zip.

I agree, Nifflas' games are a work of art. I truly admire him and the decent job he's doing.
