Been in a huge mood for co-op games lately..just picked up Evolve and Dying Light together for $60..now I'm either gonna pick up AC Unity or Farcry 4.. I know AC:U is known for being buggy, but is it STILL buggy? Far cry 4 is more of a vs thing, I already know I'll enjoy that one. Can't help but want AC: U as well though cause I love playing the AC multiplayer and I'm eager to try co-op. Right now its one or the other though, so comment away :)

Apparently for some. I finished the game without any noteworthy bugs

One game is broken while the other is not. Your poll holds the proof,

I played a bit of Far Cry 4 I loved the series from the first Far Cry except the third, it has great graphics, effects and physics, with a deep mechanic gameplay system that I liked, i haven't played multiplayer so i don't know anything about it. About AC I love the theme, story and the graphics, but the game mechanics lack in evolution from AC 1 to the last it's the same game with improved graphics and just adds (new towns, chars, weapons) the games are full of bugs and they become frustrating when you try to run away from guards that some times your character stuck on other characters or walls. Also I always found stupid that you need to go up to the tower to unlock more of the map (the same thing I hated in Far Cry 3/4) and there is no evolution in AC games every game that comes out it's the same stupid boring system, they do not give time to the game to improve it (this is why a new AC game comes every half-one-year). I will never recommend anyone to buy AC, either Far Cry 3/4 because they "evolve" in the same way (same company aren't they?). But since you want an opinion I would say get Far Cry 4 that is not buggy at least. I believe there are more games that you could buy that are better and even cheaper.

Actually both games are broken and both of them are somewhat fixed now. AC has a lot of content and you would spend a lot of time completing it and it is fun and not that repetitive as Far cry. Far cry is a lot shorter than AC with all its side quests and such, playing coop is a lot of fun but playing alone is fun for first 10-30 hours after that you just want to end it cause its easy to unlock/complete everything and there is nothing left to do. If you'll play more coop than Single player than I recommend Far cry if not than AC: Unity.

I loved FC4 myself where I hated FC3 with a passion due to the, in my opinion, absolutely ridiculous story. Haven't played Unity and aren't planning to as sadly they went back to the old boring formula after Black Flag.

FC4 was fun but short while AC Unity was longer for me and semi-long. FC4 about 2 Days, and AC Unity about a week. But whichever one you get don't forget to get the companion apps.
