I currently have a code that requires photo evidence but previously I never did, why is this?

Maybe they just want to stop people trading them?

Even stores like Newegg or others in USA sell them for 50$, traders and ppl from eBay get lot less from this codes. I don't think AMD or Nvidia care about this, even if is not supposed to be sold.

Sometimes they have security breaches and people get access to keys or even develop keygens, so they have to verify you actually bought the product and didn't just get one that way.

You can only ever redeem 2 regardless of time length between. It's not likely someone buys every new GPU or crossfires.

Had to give one to my brother, who doesn't even play games.

Edit: GPU, Alienware Arena giveaway in March, Raptr giveaway some weeks ago. Boom over the limit.

If you create another account using a different email, you can redeem additional codes.

Better having no one, than receiving an email from support telling you that the promo is over. It already happenned to me, a few weeks after Thief's release.

if you're buying a brand new AMD card (no older ones, sorries ;p) from certain retailer you're getting a code that gives you 1-3 games.

memph1s was giving away around 800 battlefield 4 keys. they changed it when everybody tried to redeem their codes. So I just posted a screenshot from this giveaway. 2 days later they just replied "code is valid. use your key again".
