Well, the shipping prices are 2.79 euros and that's the standard one - I found some games one or two euros cheaper, but the shipping price remained the same.

Yes, they all are used copies. I tried finding copies shipped by Amazon, but there were only one or two at 15 euros - paying the shipping fee was cheaper than having it shipped free.

The whole idea is to profit from multiple purchases, charging more for shipping and handling for each separate item.
It's on purpose. Just check ebay. People selling stuff for $1 but then charge xx for shipping.

Haha, funny enough the 50 euros it costs yearly is what I'd pay for the shipping of my games XD

For anyone that still doesn't know, students can get Amazon Prime free for 1 year.

i tried to order a 119$ guitar amp to romania. the total cost was 277$. i sent them an email. i got 4 lines of apologies and they told me to contact them after i place the order to get a refund. the shipping cost was 24$ (they stated this in the email). i don't know how the price got up to 277$, but as long as they refund me i think it's ok.

My Gamestop is selling PS2 games at 9 games for $5, I could look through them for you and send them your way.

That would be extremely nice, but I've got a PAL (european) PS2 and I'm thinking GameStop sells NTSC =]
Although 5 dollars for 9 games does sound tempting ^^

So here's what happened... I have some disposable income (I think this was made clear by several of my last comments haha), and I thought I'd buy some PS2 games from Amazon (yes, I still love PS2 games).
I manage to find a serious and cheap seller - each game is about 4 euros and they've got some good titles! Splinter Cell is 0.75 euros!
What happens next is... well, all the games should come in one package, shouldn't they? The seller has all the games in stock and can send them in one big package.
Well, I proceed to checkout, and here's the catch: I've got 45 euros of games, and about 40 euros of shipping fees.
Seriously.
The games cost about as much as the fee to get them to my home, and they come in one big package... I understand the post office has fees to pay (fuel, salaries, etc.) and they can't all be subsidized. But considering the total weight is not even a single kilogram and the games should all come in one package (which I guess I could request from the seller too), why are the fees stacking up?
If anyone has any way of getting through these hideous fees, please share them. Also, if you know of any good PS2 games reseller (preferably cheap, and I don't care if the game is used - I want to play them, not sit them on a shelf) in the general area of Luxembourg, please share that too.
