[FREE] For Honor Starter Edition (Steam)

Right I was one of the people that preordered it at a local gamestore (only carried uplay copies so oh well)
got some play time in and generally enjoyed the experience when I could connect.
I wonder if I redeem the starter version while having the regular one linked, would i lose my progress or nah? haha

start at 7 pm.

How gimped is progression in the starter edition versus the full game? I understood that the RS:Siege starter was painfully grindy.
