Depression, maybe bipolar disorder (my therapist isn't really sure with that one) and a genetic defect that leads to obesity and the various complications that come with it.

I appreciate the sentiment, but believe me when I say, I do everything I can. ;) At one point I decided to go for a at least 30 minute walk every day and broke my foot. Went to the doctor only about 6 weeks later cause I thought I just had to power through the pain.

PC's. Require quite a bit of attention, not totally obedient, but are reasonably clean and generally quite affectionate.
Personally I'm currently leaning towards no pets. We have a dog, she's cute and all, but I don't really need another attention grabbing creature in addition to the kids. Not my call though. I'm sure we'll get another dog once this one dies. I grew up with cats. When I lived by myself the only pets I had were hamsters.
For videos and gifs, cats definitely rule. Also cat girls > dog girls. Garfield vs. Snoopy, I'm not sure, probably Snoopy.
