If you check deals regularly, you will often notice that games from one dev/publisher are discounted at the same time in different stores.
For spotlight discounts like Fanatical's Star deal and Chrono's daily offer it's rather uncommon, I admit.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a regular deal. But like Star Deal and Daily Offer... it's the game they wanted to get attention to. And after the Humble Sonic Bundle... that's what makes me confused.

I thought it was meant to be like one of these photos, so a pretty typical vacation photo, only he's on top of a bridge, rather than on a beach, or some other nice place.

The issue is the angle, it really looks like he is holding the camera on top of his dick.
Let's just say that the whole project rubbed every fan the wrong way the moment they announced it as a live action movie instead of being animation, and then every piece of info so far hasn't given any indication that the movie is going to be any good. From the outside it looks like a train wreck of a project in slow motion.
I personally want to see a trailer, but I don't have much hope.

Some of the reactions I've seen has made it look like people thought the makers of the movie had done something truly awful to them, like kicking their dog. It might well turn out to be a bad product, heck, it's very likely to turn out to be bad, but reacting the way I've seen a bunch of people do is not really in line with the "offense" (as is so typically the case with gaming-related things...)

Oh yeah, people really over reacted to this thing, there's no way I'm gonna deffend that.
But it's still incredible how out of touch Paramount was with the general impression that the internet had of this movie, people were eager to hate it from the moment they heard about it being a thing, and people knew of it since many years ago thanks to all the constant leaks. They should have waited untill they had a really nice trailer of it and make a good first impression, instead they tried to generate hype and it backfired.
If anything at least they have Jim Carrey as Eggman, they should have pushed that.

Now I know I'm not going to watch it :P I can't stand Jim Carrey when he does a comedic role, he somehow manages to put me in a bad mood every single time. And Eggman/Robotnick (I personally don't like the name Eggman) is not a particularly serious villain.

The fact that they're making this the day after releasing the newest episode of Sonic Mania Adventures which featured Amy, Metal Sonic, a winter version of Angel Island and 2 other zones from S3&K that weren't included in Mania makes me a bit suspicious. Wouldn't be shocked if they anounce a new DLC soon, or a sequel.

Now the very same game is a Star Deal on Fanatical and game of the day on Chrono.gg.
Like... what the actual hell? Did they all buy too many keys for the game and has to sell them asap? Three biggest Steam games sites...
