My brother-in-law was watching a show on Investigation Discovery. When I walked past I heard the narrator introduce someone that's in Children of Bodom. At first I thought that was fairly odd. But I watched just enough of that episode to figure out why it, in fact, made sense to have an interview with a member of metal band on Investigation Discovery.

It was on Investigation Discovery, so it wasn't about kittens and hugs : (

Distinctive sounding psychedelic doom-folk metal. You get the impression that real loving care was invested in the making of this: another instance, then, of my favourite type of album. I really enjoy this overall sense of quality. Tracks seem to go well with each other and their order seems natural so listening to the whole thing adds something compared to picking out individual tracks. Having said that, I like track 5 ("Nine worlds") the best - primus inter pares indeed.

I've been listening to a ton of Camp by Childish Gambino lately. I've been traveling this past month and I've had it on straight repeat.
