A complete waste of resources considering now we have a crack very soon. They spend a lot to protect a game for hours (like in this case). They simply can't understand piracy and never will.
A pirate will never buy a game, no matter if there's a crack or not. A (illegally) downloaded game will never be a lost sale. If there's not a crack for a particular game, a pirate will simply play another (cracked) game.

Damn, I really hoped it would get cracked fast. I didn't expect it to be that fast though. Now, could they just patch it and remove that nonsense already? I might even buy it, but only without Denuvo.

Not all publishers remove Denuvo after the crack is released. In fact, they're the minority, the exception. Look at the list in the OP (the ones in bold).

Yeah, I know. But one can hope, eh? I was uncertain to begin with, whether I should buy that game or not. If they removed it, that would certainly be an incentive to do so. If not, I'll just remind myself how much the ending of the original LiS game disappointed me and ressist the urge for a while (maybe even indefinitely).

I only just realized, they finally removed it. As I said, "one can hope". In this case, hoping and waiting paid off. I guess, I can put it back on my wishlist on isthereanydeal now, not that I have high hopes because we already know from the first LiS game where the story leads to...
Anyway, thanks for updating this thread. Too bad there isn't any way to make it sticky and get notifications on updates somehow.

Games take months, if not years, to make. They probably contracted Denuvo long before it got cracked

They add and remove Denuvo with a single update (check the list in the OP) so it must be easy to remove before launch, considering now it's useless and anti consumer. Releasing a game with Denuvo means it will get a lot of negative reviews, so they better consider removing it completely to avoid this.

IMPORTANT: Please, add (type) the tag "Denuvo" manually to all Denuvo games you visit in the Steam Store, there aren't still enough games tagged as "Denuvo" so the tag does not appear. I'm adding direct links to the games below.
Also you can join this group and you will get a notice in every game profile with Denuvo.
