I've won my first at 8-900 entries. Now I've got 3000 entries and 7 wins in total. Found my luck for a while, but looks like I lost it again :sigh:

My first win came shortly after 1000 giveaways.

I won at about 300 something for my first, which was Portal 1

A friend of mine won a giveaway 5 minutes after he registered with my invite code (back when SG had invite system). I guess my luck rubbed off on him

My friend won on his 5th entry, now he has 2k , didnt win again yet xd

Well i've entered 2,894 Giveaways and won 0 so i'm an example of bad luck :(
I'm also part of the S.CherryPoppers the lowest entry giveaway i was in was 4 Entries so i had 1/4 of winning and still lost :/

Got my first one at over 1000, but back then most giveaways had about 1500 Enties.. now 2000-4000+ seems to be the norm.
Its pretty easy to soo how lucky/unlucky you are: If you enter giveaways with an average of around 3000 people, it would be "normal" to get your first win after 3000 giveaways.. if you win before the 3000th you can concider yourself lucky, if you didn´t win anything after that mark, you can start concidering yourself unlucky ^^

Still, kudos for this posting, you just seem to be interrested and like to have a discussion, so everything´s all right :) There are a lot of people who open topics with "Im the unluckiest guy in the whole wide world! Didn´t win anything after 120 giveways" and stuff like that xD

There is a group just for people who haven´t won anything yet, I don´t remember the name though.. anyway, best of luck to you, dont give up hope! ^^

That number is only going to go up. The average number of entries per public non-DLC giveaway is in the thousands now, whereas 6 months ago it was 400-600.

I recommend either getting into group giveaways or contributing a little to get in on those giveaways.
