The SG gods have shown me favor over the last week so here is my first train (Level 2) as a small offering.

Visual novels aren't really my thing, I don't get the attraction to them. Do you like visual novels? Tell me what about them attracts you?

All aboard

No, I hate them!

Bump. No idea why I like VNs. I think it's memories of playing old choose-your-own-adventure books.

I still need to play Kamidori one day...
I'd say to give Yumina the Ethereal a try, great soundtrack selection, and its not all reading. There's a semi-optional dungeon crawler element that'll keep you occupied for a good few hours alongside the reading. It's possible (and there's route options for such) that require only minimal interaction there, but its well worth doing, and bloody hard to do the Harder difficulty levels without it (since the story has multiple fight scenes).

But the dungeon world itself also has its own story, which fits in with the main story and later unlocks Yumina's true ending. I spent many hours on it, easily a good 70+.

On the other hand, far less actiony, but I loved one called Hoshizora no Memoria. It does have a censored loli scene as the "real/hidden" ending, with Mare, who you meet really early on. But its still cute.
Speaking of such, wonder if Eternal Heart is fantranslated yet...

Novel Bump. Entered for most~
Not sure about these "East Tower" things yet... reserve judgment for when actually playing them, but its heavily implied by name alone its a different novel for different routes.

it's like a halfway house between film and book I suppose. a good story draws you in, you can appreciate it at your own pace with some pictures to help convey the information
