Recommend me some zombie games

Prototype 1 and 2 (I know that the infected in the game are not exactly zombies but they are doing the exact same things like zombies do :P)

Fort Zombie.
It's very glitchy and not polished at all, but it's the best attempt to simulate Romero style survival.

The walking dead its not regular point and shoot but it really gives you a feeling of true zombie game.

Dead Island? Co-op is alot more fun but it always crashes for me

Project Zomboid is actually very fun, don't know if it was updated though.

Red dead redemption:undead nightmare

Look up the Stalker line of games. I have all 3, but not played them yet. I guess they are HARD sandbox type of survival games.

Like said by others, there aren't many sandbox survival games with zombies. They are on high demand but no supply. Here are some though:

Action oriented(not real survival where you build your base, gather food&water to survive, have day cycles and all that romero type movie jazz things): Stalker, L4D2, Killing Floor, Dead Island, zombie mods for games (like HL2 CoD BF2 Red Dead Redemption) etc

Survival games(where you build your base, gather supplies etc): Project Zomboid, and yeah.. no real supply of this type. Kickstarted has/had few good ideas, but we shall see if they go anywhere. Sad that there aren't any big powerhouse company making a solid sandbox zombie survival game.

Dead Island is the first thing to come to mind. Saints Row 3 has a zombie island in it.
