From Brazil and assuming you mean keeping the same relative position in society(which matters far more than which country)... Any of the Nordic countries and Japan seem to be the countries best in general quality of life. Maybe I missed an European country that didn't occur to me right now but outside those can't really think anywhere I would like to live since even the closest ones(Australia and New Zealand) have problems.

Our winters can be an unpleasant surprise. The months long darkness has it drain.

I can't say for sure without living with temperatures that low for a while(I imagine the jump from right above freezing point to below is pretty noticeable) but is not something I particularly worry about as personal experience has heat bothering me far more than cold. Especially since there are so many things to take into account I can't help but think temperature is only relevant when choosing between otherwise equal locations.

Lower temperature can be even nice at times. It has its pros. I consider the darkness that comes with the winter to be the factor that really bummers people. At worst, when you wake up and go to work it is still dark. After you finish your work, it is already dark again. Couple months without sun starts to take its toll. I consider it one reason why people from southern (and sunnier) countries are more talkative and open than the people from the north.
But Nordic countries have their good sides. Generally clean nature and safe place to live, down to earth people and alright infrastructure.

I like Canada for many reasons, and I also hate it for many reasons.
All countries have their pros and cons, so I guess I'd just rather live here where I know what to expect. However, I would definitely visit another country for a while.
On top of my mind as places I want to visit, are:

I'm happy living in the US, but I wish I had had the chutzpah to have moved to France for a few years. I did "live" there for work for 13 weeks spread out over an 8-month period, but I was living in a hotel so it wasn't quite the same. And I was working very long hours.
I also would have enjoyed living in Canada or New Zealand, I think.
But those ships have all sailed.

I love my country and I love my wolverines. Canadia already controls the moon so you might as well submit.

Not country just Patagonia, nature and clean air with internet is enough for me.

I was born and have grown up in New Zealand. Not keen on moving as I love it here :) only problem is you only get decent internet in the cities, and since I'm in the country I get internet that doesn't really work half the time.

I'm American, but I lived in Japan for a few years.
While I greatly enjoyed my time overseas, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else permanently.
I think more people should spend some time abroad, because for me it gave me a greater appreciation for my home country.

I would like to live in anywhere else.
Poland is one of the poorest country in whole Europe but we get that same prices as other rich countries. Vat is 23%. For alcohol, cigarettes and fueI we have to pay some extra money -.-. Killers and thiefs can get less years in prison than somebody who have done smaller crime. You can't even protect yourself if somebody would break in to your house. Incredible big ammount of paper works because of the bureaucracy . There is often case when somebody have to paid penalty because of some mistake or some absurd. Many young people go to other countries. President and whole parliament don't know why <lol>. Several times parliament tried to change our currency to euro despite of that nobody in country want this but they still showing some stretched survey about percent of people who want euro.
Beautiful country with incredible history but people here are s***.

Maybe Germany, but most of my German vocabulary consists of swearing, so I wouldn't last long. Honestly, I'd love to have a dual citizenship (US/Germany) and to be rich enough to own a house in both countries (and to pay the airfare back and forth repeatedly :p). My family is here in the US, and my significant other's is in Germany; it'd be amazing if neither of us had to pick whose family to move so far from. ^^

Personally I would love to live in England, especially London or Switzerland but I don't know the language of this last one.
How about you? You like your country or is there another country where you would like to live in?
