Behtesda is not perfect, but i don't want to set them on fire yet. at least as publishers.

Vblank and Retro City Rampage. Never any problems with the game and every update added more content.
One update added mods, cards, and now the DX update added new gameplay balances, free of charge (unlike Capcom's Ultra Street Fighter 4).

No publisher gets away with anything.
Except maybe Nintendo.

I don't understand the Nintendo hate. I've seen people criticise the Mario Kart 8 DLC which contains as much as almost half of the original content of the game for 12€. But hey, that The Last of US DLC for 15€ that lasted 1,5 hours was awesome.

It doesn't help that it's too easy to rush something out the door by a nice date then fix the rest of it. (Either intentional or the devs being rushed by Pointy Haired suits)

Well I'm all about Bethesda games (especially TES/Fallout) but they aren't really famous of pushing out decent content. Their sandbox games are more like "frameworks" for modders to create amazing things. Also Skyrim, FNV were notoriously riddled with bugs, I remember when I played the Dragonborn DLC right after buying it and the final epic bossfight bugged out so bad that I had to skip the whole scene via console commands. So nope. What I like about Bethesda the most is that they don't sell 50 pieces of nonsense micro DLCs (yea looking at you Crusader Kings II or Borderlands 2) although they had their controversy with the hilarious horse-armor dlc for Oblivion.
Firaxis games are also quite buggy, and I don't like the new CIV practice - pushing out half-baked barebones game and releasing interesting features as "expansions".

Bethesda is knows as Bugthesda for a reason (and when they are only a publishers (aka it's not Elder Scrolls nor Fallout), that's when real fun-with-bugs-etc starts :( ).
Firaxis tends to release product with issues that are fixed in DLCs - happened in Civilization 5, happened with Xcom, probably will happen with Beyond Earth ;) - so unless I see some price bug I'm not buying any of their games until they announce Complete Edition, or sequel - which means they are done with current game.
DLCs really broke AAA gaming for me, so I really can't say which publishers are good :)

For a developer, i'm surprised that Supergiant Games hasn't been mentioned for Bastion.

I was just chiming in on a thread regarding the rendering issues in AC Unity. As is often the case, the publisher is being ripped to shreds on most gaming sites for the issue. I think it has been a long time since I recall a game release with zero issues. My guess would be that those games are out there somewhere in the vastness of digital content.
As a contrast to the persistent dissatisfaction, I am curious what publisher(s) or developer(s) you feel have been fairly reliable with their releases? Personally, I consider two factors here: the quality of said game on it's release date, and (possibly even more important) their response to issues that may arise after the fact.
So is their a company (or are there companies) that you feel kick out respectable content for the most part (you can list publishers or developers)?
Here are a handful of ones that come to my mind:
Bethesda
Firaxis
CD Projekt Red
Now none are perfect, but IMO these publishers and developers are fairly reliable in the strength of their primary releases, and are consistent with maintaining their product after initial distribution. Additional plus points to CD Projekt Red for never charging for additional content!!!
