That would have been third on my list, but I was lazy. Brilliant album.

Honestly there were some good albums this year, but the only one that really stood out for me was Save Rock and Roll. Random Access Memories was ok, not Discovery caliber though. Like Clockwork was good, but had some rather bland tracks. I have listened to a few songs from Reflektor and honestly it seems a bit pretentious and out there to warrant a double album, however I may change my mind if I listen to it more. I felt that their previous album The Suburbs was a generation defining album that had some good tracks, some of which are classic and some of which weren't so good after repeated listening. I am a big David Bowie fan, but I found it hard to get into The Next Day, it just reminded me of a mellow Franz Ferdinand mixed with your standard indie rock. I tried to get into the singles, but there wasn't much their for me. Yeazus, Modern Vampires of the City and Bankrupt! had some really good singles (particularly Bankrupt!) but I really couldn't get into them as a whole.
My top anticipated album for this year is the potential Outkast album (assuming their reunion isn't just touring), D'Angelo's next album, Philter's next album and the new Foo Fighters album. Also really hoping David Bowie will do one last tour this year.

I recently made a list of my personal 31 picks of '13. I guess if I had to settle with one, it'd be Moonface's Julia With Blue Jeans On or Jami Sieber's Timeless.
