I know it has been asked to death by now, but can I enter a Deus Ex Director's Cut giveaway if I already have the base game? I mean the DC is a significant upgrade, which would cost $5. I mean we have $5 game giveaways, so I should be allowed to enter this, right?

The director's cut is actually sold as a separate game. My guess is that it's Ok to enter for it even if you have the regular game. Of course this could be open to interpretation by the GA creator. (Maybe someone in the support staff could confirm if they accept re-roll requests for this particular case.)

same as with any game bundle/collection/etc. Ity's up to Ga creator - because you own big chunk of GA content already if you win and Ga creator requests a reroll he will be granted a reroll and you will not receive the game.

why not just spend the 5 dollars and let someone else who may not even have the game win it??

you are still free to do what you want but 5 dollars i would just buy it

if it was Skyrim i would take the chance as they want just as much for the DLC as they pretty much want for the game so that makes more sense

but 5 dollars and imo the directors cut is not even worth it

That's why I wrote 'we have $5 game giveaways', so your argument could be directed to everyone entering giveaways for games 5 bucks and cheaper.
I probably won't enter anyway, was just curious if it was allowed (could be some other games in the future that have this weird upgrade standalone).

It is different in graphics (sometimes for the worse, though) and it is sold as a different game, so yeah, I don't see why shouldn't you be able to enter those.
