Those are all sandbox games, you'd probably like the Saints Row series.

Sleeping Dogs is similiar to the GTA series, though it also adds a Material Arts/Fighting element. :)

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor has similar gameplay mechanics as Assassins Creed.

Was thinking this myself. Also maybe Dragon Age: Origins/Ultimate edition could suit your tastes, give it a look and see if it might fit.

I'd like to answer that but I don't want to sound sexist.
so I'll just say Casual Space.

edit. it's 7% now, and 5% of them are probably referring to huniepop

HoGs are quite popular around these parts. I would guess that that's something that a good amount of those "casual" voters are referring to.

Yep~ When you say "casual", what comes to mind are the hidden object games, time management, match-3, etc.

I really enjoy casual games, but my focus for the past couple of years has been primarily action-adventure... Although I AM playing a hidden object game as we speak~!

Mad Max. The Saboteur. Mafia 3 (it is AC: Syndicate reskinned, so as close as you can get). Bully. Just Cause games. Arkham Knight. Saint's Row series. Watch_Dogs games, if you are really desperate.

Homefront - The Revolution is basically Far Cry in an urban/revolutionary setting, though with a much less memorable "villain".

Maybe Aragami? It plays like Assassin's Creed but without parkour

Aragami is not very AC-like. It's not open world, and it requires a good amount of stealth.

Shadow of Mordor is your best bet for an Assassin's Creed game
Saint's Row would probably be a good one to try if you like GTA
For Dishonoured you might try the Deus Ex games or Styx: Master of Shadows

Shadwen is not similar to either of those. It's a stealth game, so it's a tad bit closer to Dishonored than Assassin's Creed (which is really not a stealth game series), but it's still very different to Dishonored.

As for games like the above mentioned:

Dishonored

Thief series. All of them are in the same vein, but the latest one is unbelievably buggy, even fully patched. I just gave up on it during its second real level as I kept getting stuck in things. Thief 1-3 are all great though.

Assassin's Creed

The Saboteur, Mad Max, Shadow of Mordor.

Skyrim

Obvious recommendation would be Morrowind (but not Daggerfall, Arena, Battlespire or Redguard).

GTA

Saint's Row started as a bit of a GTA knockoff/parody. If you have the willpower to go through the steps required to make SR2 run well (and not super fast), I would recommend that one.

Far Cry

Crysis, made by the same folks and kinda similar.

Assassin's Creed: Shadow of Mordor, Styx
Skyrim: Gothic, Risen, Witcher 3, Divinity 2
GTA: Sleeping Dogs, Saint's Row 2
Spore: depends on the stages, but maybe Impossible Creatures? Or KSP
Far Cry: depends on which Far Cry... FC1 is mostly linear with sci-fi themes, FC2 is Heart of Darkness, FC3/4 have fun gameplay with shitty writing and generic Ubisoft open-world mechanics.
Dishonored: Thief 1/2/3, Styx again, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Bioshock 1/2

The Saboteur could be nice for you; a bit like GTA with some parkour. The game isn't on Steam though, you have to crab it from Origin or buy DVD version (doesn't need Origin).
EDIT: Fnord was 8 minutes faster, darn it! :D

Oh, I didn't know that :) I own the DVD and the Origin versions (forgot that I still had the DVD at one point). It really is quite nice game, shame that Saboteur 2 wasn't meant to be.
