I've seen a lot of comments on giveaways that people are breaking the rules, so they're reported and blacklisted. Most of the time I enter giveaways quickly and in a panic to get in before they expire. If I win a regift, what can happen to me or my account? Anything bad?

I wouldn't consider "refunding points and removing giveaway" a bad thing, but I just don't want to get in trouble for being complicit with rule breakers haha.

Nothing bad could happen to you, only to the rogue regifter when they eventually get reported.

Nothing. But there is a higher chance of not getting the gift.

What's the highest generation of regift you've seen? During the drunk wizards craze I spotted a regift of a regift of a regift. That's a 4th generation gift!

Personally I have never seen anything beyond 1 generation. I assume most re-gifting processes end with some severe form of pleasure overload.

If anything they're better to win than normal gifts ;) Support might remove the giveaway, and then you've got a game without your ratio being hurt!
Due to that it looks like I've won $50 less than I've actually won (A-train 9 was an expensive game..)

if you win a regift you can activate it then laugh in the regifters face. it feels good knowing that if they want the blemish removed from their account they will have to buy the game their-selves and activate it since they gave the original away
