Which version should I buy?
I heard that the Survivor dlc (which is the only one i'm lacking) is pretty good, but i'm not gonna risk it. Most of the additional content is basically the same things you already do in the vanilla, so you might as well play the standard version and then buying Survivor later if you liked the base game. The campaign is very repetitive by design, so you might not want to do the same stuff over and over again in the dlcs. Especially if you're not into grinding for better gear, which is the main reason to play dlcs anyway.

I only have exp with the base game and I am loving it! Most of all, like others have stated, I'd love to get the Survivor DLC first, not sure about the others. I'd get them, but only after this one.

I got it in ps4 (bough the presale edition for 70€), Buy it ONLY if you have friends to play it, then buy you 4(yes 4 people required for that game) gold edition, if you reach the "end" of the game and if you dont have the gold edition, you will get stuck.

I bought gold yesterday cause I'm interesting in DLC Survival and cause "base game + Seasson pass" is much more expensive than "simple" Gold edition.
P.S.: Does anybody know when is possible and how is possible to enter survival missions?
P.S.S.: Don't forget that game start with microphone switched on so everybody can hear everything near ur microphone (could be switched off or change it to "press to speak" mode by option "radio")

I was interested in this deal, but I was put off when I found out the game requires constant internet connection for all game modes. I guess it's understandable for a game like this, but it basically means that, once they shut off the servers, and unless they update the game so you can play offline (unlikely), you'll have an unplayable game that you spent money to buy. Just putting this out there.

I was in same boat as you and wondering which edition to buy. Untill i saw steam charts numbers. 3000 daily average for online only game is not a good number, especially for my region. You can probably find more people in your region. But still.

Thats not true at all, most of the online games that i play have less than 1k and many times less than 500 players and i have no problem to find servers. Of course i am in Europe which is a little bit easier to find players than Asia but 3k would be more than enough anyway.

also you need to count the people that plays in Uplay client, i have 850 hours in this game, i play usually solo and the last time that i played was a couple of days ago and never had a problem looking for people.
anyway, buy the Gold Edition, gamemodes are pretty fun and Survival is really really challenging

Hi, I want to buy The Division on steam (-80% right now on steam store) and the question is... Which version of the game should I buy? Is Standard Edition enough or Gold Edition with Season Pass etc. is worth to spend more?
Little something for your troubles :)
