Get it?
Im in for another NFS, though i haven't played a good one ever since Hot Pursuit, that was like 6 years ago

I'm currently playing MW, it's not an hard game but it's tough to get an hold of these controls.
Not to mention, the first few hours of the game, are spent just going back and forward every time you find a new car, no idea why you would design a game like that.

serious Valve, get your act together
They dont need to, there is no competition. You started it yourself people hate origin, uplay even GOG.
once in awhile they will test new waters and end up backing down, that's a rare occurrence

personally I hate Steam, and prefer DRM free over any of those (Except GOG, since GOG falls into the DRM free category) Only time I buy steam is if the games not available from another source, or it's dirt cheap/bundled....but even then will still usually end up purchasing it elsewhere later on. half the time I will even buy the console version of a game to avoid buying steam...I also know many others who hate steam(And at least 1 who hates it more than me).....
So...while yes, people hate origin....People also hate steam..so, there is competition, on which one people hate less. Like I said, I hate all of them, but hate GOG less, but only because you get DRM free games when you buy them...second least hated is UPlay, but that's only because I love Tom Clancy games, and will forgive the annoyances of the downloader client for Tom Clancy goodness......but overall they are equally annoying.

but how much have you "invested" on steam compared to all the others
Its not that there aren't people who use all of the above services, but almost every one owns a steam account
The number of users is far superior then all the others put together
Being the go to place for games, they are more likely to abuse that trust rather then getting their act together

in terms of how much I have invested, easily I would say GOG I have invested the most in. As I said, most of my purchases for steam or mainly bundle games..so a few bucks here and there. I do buy new games on steam if I can't buy it DRM-free or on a console. For instance, I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider on steam, because I don't have an Xbox One, and didn't want to wait til god knows when for the PS4 release.
I do admit I have invested more in steam than I have in UPlay, and Origin, but that's cause most Uplay titles are released on consoles too...The only game I have bought outright for Uplay is Splinter Cell: Conviction, and the only Origin title I have bought is Battlefront. I also bought it for console though....
Doesn't mean I prefer any of the downloaders. I pretty much hate them equally..but yea, I have spent more on GOG(But not through their client, I haven't even installed galaxy), and Steam second.

I really wish one of the competitors would become big enough to be a serious threat to Valve :( But currently, if you want to play modern AAA games, you really don't have much of a choice other than to use Steam. Valve used to have a more consumer friendly attitude, back before digital distribution was the only way to go for PC games.

weird, i never had problems with Origin servers or the software itself, i even contacted their support because i got locked out of my account because of my new phone and they fixed my problem en 10 minutes, 10 MINUTES, they even gave me a discount coupon xD

I have like 15 games on origin and i had played until something like 55 level over the cap at battlefield 3 - origin is the worst crap ever made, and the only reason to do so - OH WOW LOOK WHAT STEAM IS DOING, I WANT TO DO THE SAME. Then they kill gamespy when nobody buy their crap.

Battlefield 3 use that strange hybrid system with the web interface that never worked. That's on EA/DICE (and it was a really bad system), but not Origin.
And why are you bringing up gamespy? That's entirely unrelated, GameSpy was killed by Glu mobile, EA had nothing to do with it (you could blame IGN who sold GS to Glu mobile).

I don't hate Origin but my first experience with it was REALLY crappy. BF3 launches a damned web browser to launch the game, WTF!?
Also, I like to have all my games on 1 service, still I'll buy exclusives from somewhere else but is not preferred.

That's because BF3 was not really integrated with Origin. That's an issue with BF3, not Origin. It's like a game using 3rd party thing on Steam. Considering how long it takes to develop a game, my guess is that this is due to the infrastructure needed to support a multiplayer game through Origin not being in place when they were working on BF3.
Personally I've made the choice to not only support steam, because the PC gaming market is not particularly healthy right now. While a lot of PC games are being made, Steam has a scary market dominance, and you can tell that they've grown complacent with their position, as they don't seem to considering fixing their issues with their servers or their support to be important (if they did, they would have fixed it by now, Valve has the resources to do so).

But whose fault is that? I never used it before, I bought that game and had that experience, how would I know? it was bought on Origin, it's an Origin exclusive published by EA, so it was definitely their fault. I'm just sharing my first experience with it. I had a nice experience with Titanfall.

You have to consider when the game was made. The infrastructure to make it work on Origin was most likely not in place yet. The other option would have been to postpone the development of Battlefield 3 until the infrastructure would be in place, but that is not really an option if you consider how much it would actually cost (having your development team sit idle for ½ year or more is never a good idea).
So blaming Origin for BF3 would be like blaming Steam for a game developed before the infrastructure to allow matchmaking and such through steam being in place for not having matchmaking through steam. Even if Valve was working on it, developing for something that is work in progress and bound to change is not really a good idea.

Well, it looks that you are not getting my point, I'm not saying Origin is crap, I'm just saying what happened to me, and potentialy to other gamers, that made a big impression, I have a friend that bought BF3 boxed at launch, he now can't even hear the "origin" name. I understand what you are saying and I already said that with Titanfall everything went fine.

Oh wow...didnt even noticed that.
Sad this is the state of ports these days, but i wish bandai would inform us when they have a crap port aswell
You know what? after so many years trying to brainwash kids, it would be fun if people would be like "meh...its not like we can see past 30fps"

le sigh... i like all sorts of racing games, but with car physics that make sense, i dont mean as a racing simulator, but as something with consistency that allows me to get a grip on my car and master it, even GTA V pulls this great, but i tried it on console, the physics constantly switch up between racing modes, theres crazy rubber banding, and worst of all the car tricks work more as quick time events rather than you know... skill stuff, so pass.

Origin + Denuvo + Shitty, senseless hobbling of PC version (thanks, consoles) = I'd rather sauté my own testicles...

I was a fan of first Most Wanted so that deluxe pre-order make me really want to buy it :D But it's too expensive for me and i don't think my computer can handle the game. I know the game isn't impressive too but seeing NFS go back this makes me want to support it. There is no arcade style racing games anymore. :/

I miss the old day when your first car on NFS is shitty car and then progressing to better car until the best car.. The last NFS games i enjoy is Carbon, maybe Pro Street / Undercover (got mixed feeling about those two)

With those kind of specs do not count on sales being high, that is a lot for just high settings and for a racer.Just Cause had step hardware requirements that i suspect also hurt sales.Do these people know most people who game tend to have something around a 7870 or Nvidia equivalent, and according to them that is needed just for 30fps and low.
The ironic thing is the last racer i bought on launch was Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition
I don't have PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, can I still play single player without it?
"Yes you can. PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold will not be required for single player. But as per any multiplayer experience on console, you will require an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription."
Also why do consoles get a pass on needing always online, why do we get stuck with it,let me guess it just DRM covered up with the "it needs it to evolve the game.Did they not learn from Sim City? This is all based one last i knew PC needing a constant internet connection.
Why not just call it a MMO racer,as that what it boils down to when it needs always online even for single player.
P.S. i also chuckled when they used Controller Support and Wheel as a selling point since when is that not a standard for any racer even on a console?

I almost forgot about this until I got an email today revealing the PC version, coming March 15th.
Have to say I was surprised they will include manual gear box and steering wheel support. I might get this game after all.
for the 4k visuals :D it's really only 1080p >_>
