I'd say it's probably worth it if you don't have a lot of other games to play right now.

I really like it, but be prepared to play it for a little while and not get too attached to individual characters.

I have never played The Witcher 3. It is hard and challenging, the RNG can get annoying, but it is much better then when it was Early Access. I never got terribly frustrated with it, but a few of my friends did.

I personally never found it too frustrating. I mean occasionally a character you put a lot into dies and doesn't come back, which is a bit disheartening but I never even got close to the point of "that's it, I don't wanna play anymore". I think it's pretty balanced, where the game gets harder as you get better/get more items/perks without being ridiculous. There are also a couple different settings to adjust difficulty/annoyingness (ie: turning off corpses staying behind after killing the creatures).
I'm not the best at video games and I've loved playing it. :) If anything I could see people getting turned off by the repetitiveness of the fighting, moreso than difficulty.

Thanks for your input! I would have to agree, after all the information ive been given, I can see that I would probably feel a little annoyed at the repetitiveness of the battles but I have never played a game that made me leave it just because the battle system was repetitive. So I think I would definitely enjoy this game

One of the few Early Access games that turned out fantastic. It's hard, but even so it's enjoyable and the biggest loss when your heroes die is that you have to get new ones to strengthen. So yes, I'd say you should get it. If you like the art style, the turn-based row-positioned combat and, of course, the awesome narrator, then get it.
I've had a lot of fun with it, myself.

I've heard it's hard, but unlike Dark Souls or XCom for example, this game is not fair besides being hard. I've pirated to try it out because I intended to buy it, and gotta say it is true, RNG > skill. I can only agree with the majority of the steam reviews.
Maybe you should give it a shot before buying it too.

Random Number Generator, meaning for example if you heal a character it can be healed for 1/3 of it's life, or it can be healed so little you won't even notice. The point is really that if you're really good in this game is not enough, you have to be also lucky.

Yep, it's a really good game.
People like to say that it's insanely hard and unfair, but honestly (apart from the rare moments where you get REALLY unlucky) it is quite fair. You are always given the option of backing out of bad situations before they go out of control and with the right party compositions you can make it so that it's nearly impossible to end up in a critically bad situation in the first place. In fact, in retrospect, the majority of heroes I lost were because I got too greedy and kept going even after the odds had stacked up against me.
I guess I would best compare it to XCOM: Enemy Unknow on Ironman Mode- after you have a good idea of what you're doing you almost never lose anyone. :)

If you want, you can also suggest other games I could get instead!
