You asked, so here's my opinion, I guess.

8 - Love the lighting, and the roughness of it. The planes of the face really come through and show the boniness of the face, which is great.
12 - Wasn't the most technically impressive drawing, but the creativity and thought behind each of the details in the scene were enough to charm me over.
13 - For the same reason everyone else picked it - it's so high quality and well done in every way.

Honorable mentions:

15 - Technically executed quite well, but unfortunately it's a straight up copy of an existing poster so I couldn't vote any points for creativity.
19 - The fabric was great, the pose was great, but a series of awkward errors in the hand, gun and left foot kept me off of it.
