Never celebrated halloween, mainly cause in here we have our own holiday of similar nature.

Yeah sadly male's sexuality is not appreciated as much in general. But such is life.
May I ask though where you find umm such like-minded individuals? :P Or is it just cause of gender and being good looking that attracts the attention automatically?

My son is two years old - the only one being dressed up in my household will be him and it will be more of the cute kind.
I think I'll just pretend not to be at home on halloween - there are already reports of people running around with scary clown masks and real chainsaws in my city and I'm sure he couldn't sleep for several nights when he sees someone being dressed up like that. He's even afraid of mascot performers... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well helloween in my country is very unfiting "holiday" and the people who celebrate it here are very cringe and I often don't like them. The concept of it on the other hand I find interesting.
