Killing Floor- bundle or just the game?

no...only the zerk really profits from it and he still doesnt really need it. Buy it if you want to support the modders that made the weapons of this pack and some of the base game...or if you really want all weapons

Actually Harold Lott does have a special ability...leaving a trail of dosh behind him. I believe the Chickenator does the same with feathers.

Tthat isn't a special ability: team mates can't raise money in this way, that is only a skin.

Well, weapon pack not really is only cosmetic. It gives long range weapon for berserkers, flare revolvers are nice addition for commandos or medics when they are last living member and they have to kill few big enemies (burn those bastards), scythe is scythe - no ads needed :P , and thompson (for me wrongly named as tommy gun because it use box instead of drum magazine - I know it's the same, but not really) is lighter inbeetweener version of ak47 and m4 - this is only gun in that pack that I can't really think of any use...

I didn't use these weapons yet, but I was reporting what Tripware said:

«The weapons don't change gameplay - they are "side-grades". They all have stats similar to existing (FREE) weapons». (source)

Well, they say what they say, I'm saying what I'm thinking about guns. Melee fighter receives apparently really good ranged weapon (and popular opinion was that he was already totally overpowered...) and flare pistol is really good addition for any class that doesn't have some heavy weapon for scrakes or fleshpounds if they are last player left in wave (just start to burn them, then run as hell, then repeat).

People say scythe is overpowered - can't really say if they are right or wrong.

Only thompson feels like "just another low tier assault rifle".

well tripwire is right and wrong. Scythe is a bigger axe, Sawbow is crossbow,flare revolvers are revolvers and thompson is ak.......KINDA ;). Still,not really needed imo. Why would I need a ranged weapon with the zerk? Why the revolvers when the ingram has way more ammo and precision,why the thompson when almost every commando weapon is better

Revolver - 2 blocks, mac10 - 4 blocks, so commando with scar and fnfal can buy revolver, while he can't get mac10 (and, like I said, I've seen mac10 saving whole team arses by burning scrakes for last surviving medic). Ranged weapon for Zerk - those pesky Husks and other ranger attackers when you can't get quickly through horde of clots.
But I really can't find any argument for thompson - well, maybe those 5 blocks instead of 6 can give someone a chance to get second gun? Like for sharpshooter with Xbow?

Yup, and participating to events allows to unlock some characters, like Mr Foster, the Commando Chicken and the Grim Reaper (currently doable) by doing specific achievments while the event runs

Pick up killing floor and buy the community weapon pack...its worth it.

however the other dlc's are so stupid...you cant see yourself anyway so i dont see a reason to but them...at the end of the day,its up to you :P

Depends what you're going for, I guess. Skins are pretty much all cosmetic, I mostly just got them cause the bundle was cheaper last time iirc. The buzzsaw blade is the only weapon I can recommend from the weapon dlc - it's handy, but you can manage easily without it.
