Bear McCreary sprungs to mind..
His take on a classic would be probably appropriate..
Thank you :)

My choice (hard to pick, but this one seems apt): Something I Can Never Have by Nine Inch Nails (not a "hard" song by any means) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEW8riKU_tE

Not original perhaps, but I didn't see it yet after a simple search.

It would be very hard moment. This is the song that makes explosion of feelings every time i'm ♪♫♪ it. Very often when i listen to it, i imagine myself on the beach, alone, enjoying the view and thinking about many things. And yes, I could imagine myself in that situation with this song in the background.

World's been messed up. You are the only survivor you know. You are looking at what's left from your city. All your favorite places, your house, family and friendships are gone. Imagine this is a movie's or a book's end. What would like to hear in the background while you are standing still on top of a very high building. Share your song and I will make spotify and youtube playlists of them. If you want to share your scenerio, I believe many would like to read while listening your song. Please only one song per person. Let me start with mine, it's really hard for me to pick one song but I'll go with Dream On by Aerosmith.
Playlists:

YouTube
SGTools Gate.
Very much thanks to Jack for providing these giveaways.
