Hey folks,
I mostly listen to my favourite music on Deezer and thought since I'm probably not the only one - although the search found absolutely nothing - maybe there's a chance SG's swarm intelligence knows the problem and is able to help me.

For a few days I'm not able to play particular songs there. Most stuff works just fine, and the only thing the few songs that refuse playing have in common is that they are at the top of my "Loved" list, meaning I put them there quite recently (but it's not like the top x songs don't work - the first in the list doesn't, the second one plays, third and fourth don't, fifth does and so on, I really don't get the pattern if there is one and of course I tried accessing the music from the respective album, kicking them from my favs etc, still doesn't work, thanks for putting up with this).
Browser and Flash Player are up to date, a restart did nothing and it's not this thing where music is suddenly unavailable in your country or something like that, since the songs aren't greyed out.

So... does anyone here by chance have any idea what I could try additionally?
Thanks for your time already! :)

Where do you get your daily dose of music?

View Results
Video-sharing websites like Youtube or Vimeo
Music streaming services like Spotify or Deezer
Online stores like iTunes or Amazon Music
Internet radios like Pandora or Jango
Classic radio
CDs or records
I don't listen to (much) music
I only go to live performances of Justin Bieber
Something else, namely:

Flawed poll, i listen to spotify and go to Bieber.

We had him on a dutch festival actually, mostly with rock (and pop) music on pinkpop, only the young kids were enthousiastic but the poor adults that were forced to listen to it. :p

I guess that's true for a lot of people here. That's my way of protesting against this cruel poll system where one isn't allowed to pick more then one answer. Of course you could just vote for "Something else", since this answer says just as much as some "Multiple of those" option, namely nothing. :D Or you could pick whatever you listen to more often.

Depends on whether you ripped the music from CD's or downloaded them, I guess. Most of my music library comes from the former and stored (with my videos) on a big NAS drive.

I don't use Deezer, but you could try another browser

Thanks for your suggestion. :) Yeah, it does actually work with another browser, but I switched browsers in the first place because some other sites didn't work properly on the last one (and using several browsers at the same time isn't really manageable on my measly laptop), so unfortunately it's not really a solution...

It's a system i thought was long gone ! You must have a free account, and on thoses accounts, if you play a track "too much" the player prevents you from playing it any further. Read this a long time ago, not sure if it's still the case (and searching Google for similar cases i didn't find anything), but that's what came first to my mind.
The fact that it works when you use another browser conforts this: your most played titles must be stored somewhere in your cookies. First thing to try maybe would be to delete your cookies and see what happens.

Also, do you use uBlock Origin or any ad blocker ? Might sound silly but they can help prevent these kind of problems.

As for me, i play most of my music from either my HDD, CDs, Bandcamp or Soundcloud. I only go to Deezer or Spotify to play albums i don't find anywhere else :)

Thank you for your time! :) As I wrote in the first post those songs affected are relatively new to my playlist. That list contains hundreds of songs so there could be more cases I just didn't notice yet, but I know for sure that there are songs still playing which I listened to more frequently, so I don't think that's some kind of secret restriction.
Also, as chance would have it, I indeed deleted my cookies two days ago (I just do that from time to time to weed out some trash) and already use uBlock Origin.

Not quite on topic, but I'm absolutely willing to pay for music if the service delivers - unfortunately I have yet to encounter one who does. On Deezer (which I paid for at some point for a few months) my playlist contains many songs that were suddenly not accessible from my country anymore and some songs are sometimes available and sometimes aren't, that's just to unreliable to my liking.
