Unfortunately, no, you can't without already knowing (which you should).

I don't know why you can't put the same game in different categories, but probably because Steam doesn't support having multiple rows with the same game.

Unless they added that feature recently, no - you can't add a game to multiple categories.

Neither do I. Isn't it possible that he just bought a lot of games?
You should have taken a look at his steam profile before bringing up such accusations.

I have 35 games in my library, 2 less than him. I know which of ALL of them have multiplayer and which don't.

You should have taken a look at my steam profile before accusing me of accusing him.

I bought in the past a lot of bundles or cheap games from winter and summer sales just because it was a reasonable deal and I think OP and many of us have done the same.Even now I don't know all the games from my library that have a multiplayer or not.

You only have 35 games, I bet when you have 100+ games you can't remember which games have multiplayer...

I've got 330+ licenses on Steam and I know which does and does not have multiplayer. And of those, which ones that has co-op. Why? Because I know what I'm purchasing.

Good for you. I have so much money that I buy games just for fun and don't care what I buy :-)

I buy shitloads of games that I'm not really interested for different reasons aswell, many of which I might never even start or download once. That doesn't mean I don't know what I'm buying. Money has nothing to do with it.

I have a similar situation, i buy a game on sale and then havent played it for a while and then have to search through the store page or somewhere else so i can remember what features each game has.

Are you stupid? OP has 37 games. Where did you get 100 from?

Uh, do your research. You can buy a steam account from 2005 with 10 games on it for $5.

Don't go around making accusations based on pure speculation...

And to answer your question: Because he/she may have bought games purely for their single player, with no interest in whether or not they have multiplayer. I certainly do that, and I have little idea of which of my games have multi.

I currently have 720 games in my account and guess what, I have no idea which games do have multiplayer save for a few. I do mostly single player gaming so I don't care if a game is multiplayer or not when I purchase it. Plus I've got tons of bundle games that I never even looked at.

Oh and Store Page shows Single Player And Multiplayer (sometimes co-op too or just co-op) or just single player.:)

If a game attracts you by name THEN check steam page. Sorry but I can't give you any smarter advice.
