Will i enjoy the game more or should i give up?
i am about 6 hours or so in to it just got rita i think her name is and about to got check the caves that have a problem with thieves right after we healed that big tree. I am not really getting to in to the gameplay, characters or story i really enjoyed symphonia and abyss though. Was wondering does it get better or if i do not enjoy it yet i should just move on?

Play a little more and if you still don't like it, move on. I haven't played it, so not sure if it gets any better.

I liked Vesperia, honestly the only tales game I played that was not worth the time was symphonia dawn of new worlds or whatever the name was. The second one that came out on wii too lazy to check the name up cause thats how much I disliked it. But ya keep up with it, was a fun one, the archer has an interesting play style in vesperia if you like ranged attackers too if that helps

It's one of my favorite games to be honest. Rita was my favorite character. I'd play the game all over again if I could.

after 6 hours i still dont really care for it. Does the game start slow and get better or is this about as good as it gets?

A lot of RPG's tend to start pretty slow. Personally, I've been pretty into every Tales game I've played so far expect Phantasia from the very beginning. So, I wanna say keep going just because Vesperia's one of my favorites, but I mean, if it's been six hours and you're still not getting into it maybe that one's just not for you.

Same. Zestiria and Symphonia seem to be selling fairly well on Steam, I wish they would port the other titles >.<

I don't quite understand why they are selling so great. (Well I guess one reason would be the computer is the only place they play games) Zestiria is the worst tales game ever made and Symphonia, from what ive heard, is a bad port.

Well to be fair there isn't a huge selection of JRPGs on Steam, so that's definitely a factor. Zestiria is definitely one of the worst Tales games, but it's still a decent game imo, so it's worth it to JPRG fans to get it. Also Zestiria sold a lot of preorder because it came with free ToS.

Also Symphonia has been fixed by fan mods and patches, so it's pretty good now, although the lack of support from Bandai Namco to actually fix that game is a bit disheartening.

Oh that's not bad then. Id still rather get it on a PS3 even if it would cost me more than it is on sale here in steam since it comes with the Wii sequel though.

If you're not getting into the story, gameplay, or characters in 6 hours, I think it's probably not for you. However I would say Vesperia is the most recent Tales game that is most similar to Abyss and Symphonia. It's also considered to be one of the best Tales games, so you might want to try to stick with it a little while longer.
