Puzzle for anime fans

Hello everyone :)

I've been participating in few puzzles recently and gotta say it's a ton of fun, so I decided to create my own :D
Since I'm not very good at doing this, I decided to make a "guess character" puzzle for all anime fans :)
This one will end in a day, please bump it if you will solve it and you like it :)

Also since it's the first one I made, give me feedback if it was easy/hard, cause I can't tell what to expect of you guys :P

And of coarse, please don't share hints/answers :)

EDIT: All names have spelling same as in AniDB base, which are most common variants. Also, each answer that consist of name and surname have 2 variants, so it doesn't mather which order you use.

EDIT2: Since there are already 10 people who participate in giveaway, and I prefer for there to be less people and higher chances of winning, and also don't want to be unfair to their arcievement, I won't be posting any hints. But feedback of you all was very usufull to me, and I can now see things that I could have done better. I hope that when I'll do some next puzzle in future (which will probably be anime-themed too), I'll manage to keep diffuculty similiar, but with less issues, so it'll be more enjoyable and fair for those who won't solve it too :)

I think you should add pictures or hints :S Because I know only 4th question.

EDIT: found more answers, is possible, but hard :D So I was wrong.

Actually I think 4th might be one of hardest :P
but I think with pictures it would be too easy. Well, we will see :)

Talking about MMOs and anime girls, there is only one person.....about other questions can be more possibilities.

4th is the easiest in my opinion since only 1 possibility i think, but

Q10 i know a handful of those. will try tomorrow got plenty of time, most questions i think i know the anwsers. we will see.

tomorrow i will comment my despair on this.

10 is very easy if you saw the anime you will never forget her. But can't say hints :l, and I don't know why Deto15 used the word "writes", it's an error I think, if you see this explain please Deto15... :S

I can see your point, but I it's relatively fair I think. As you said, if you saw anime you will know, but if you didn't, it's less confusing that way.

Seems that some says 4th is easy and some says it's hard. I think it's rather hard because I can think of at least 3 anime series where MMO games are main topic and all characters fits. Maybe you just haven't saw any of those :O

These are in serious need of hints, unless you have a very narrow window of experience with anime. Most of these apply to several characters, and if you expect people to brute force 10 answers...

Yup, always wanted to be the first solver ;D I don't know if I can give tips on game, it's up to the creator. Personally I'm just not interested in it :D

Took a quick peek, most of the questions are too vague since anime characters tend to be generic, couldn't be bothered but bookmarked anyway in case OP decides to change around.

hmm I thought I was an anime fan. I watch a lot of anime and read tons of manga but can't seem to answer any of these... Well I'm disappointed with myself. I hope all the answers are from animes that haven't watched or interest me.

Hmm... Trying every girl I know which does handcuffs. Want a list of around dozen at least(remembering more and more by going over my animelist)? :D

Even got a girl which uses handcuffs as a main battle weapon.

As for #8 - By "call it" you mean name it or summon it? Or both? EDIT Nevermind. Forgot about HIM. Silly me.

Got some feeling 7th is hard so here's a hint: 7th do use handcuffs to fight :)

Just got it before I read your hint. I know of 3 females which use em to fight and it was around 17th one from those which know how to use cuffs. ^^

I need some hints for #2,5, and 7 because nothing comes to mind when I think of them. Got everything else though.

Edit: After some thinking got #7, now only #2 and 5 are left.

Edit 2: After strolling through memory lane I got #2, now only #5 is left, hmmmmmmm.

Despite the excessive use of emoticons, I'll give it a go.
Next time maybe use a site where we can look up the correct way of spelling a name (e.g. myanimelist or something). So when you know the answer, you don't waste time trying to get the format.

It's a good idea to remember for next time through :O I think I use most popular variants, but there always are sources that may write them in a bit different way. I'll check if AniDB write the all same way as I did.

I didn't say they were wrong, just that a reference database is useful for these kind of puzzles. It was my piece of feedback.
