Having not played either, I'd say Hitman.

Hitman: Absolution offers more gameplay time. Stealth vs Action, it's actually up to your liking.

i pre-ordered only those two games last year and graphically both are a beast but you should get Max Payne 3 because it was much better than Hitman Absolution in terms of both gameplay and story
