Gifted a game a week ago, winner has not responded?

I'm new to this whole Steamgifts thing, but I'm getting a little concerned. I felt like doing some good and gifting one of the Steam keys I had on here, but the person who won hasn't responded or accepted their gift yet. I have no way of knowing whether or not they used the key, and now it seems I'm in a perpetual waiting game. I want to be eligible for some of the contributor giveaways, but they don't count you as a contributor unless the user accepts your gift. What do I do?

Contact the user on Steam. I honestly do this for every giveaway, and only email a request for them to accept my friend request, as this is a worry.

Also, check if the winner now has the game in their library. If so, might be able to take it to Support.

Check the profile of the player that won and if they redeemed the game. Afterwards send a message if they are online and finally contact support.

got the same problem. not even responded through steam or email. well i just let it be.

Edit: and this is why i started to not to give someone without CV. because Someone with CV knows how it works.
