Additional hint to you and all who reads comments: google around with "tomtom" and "code" and you might find something that will help you.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
Kept thinking I could never solve without more hints by my side.
But then I spent so many moments thinking how you hinted me right
And I grew strong
And I learned how to search around
And so I'm back
From tomtom's page,
I just reloaded in to find you here for a well-deserved bump for your page
...
Do you think I'd crumble
Did you think I'd rage quit and cry?
Oh no, not I, I will solve aaaah!
Yeah, YEAH!

I've looked several times, but still no idea. Are you going to post a solution when the GA has run its course? Thanks!

Since the GA is already over i sure can post the Solution:
The traintracks are modified by me, so they create a cipher using the so called "TomTom Code"
Translate by hand using this chart or this decoder. Or google around for more :)

Even with that hint, it never occurred to me to actually search tom tom code -_-
I had no idea such a thing existed!
Thanks :-)

What Psycho laid those Train tracks?!
But apparently for true Mystery Masters they appear as code for the first 4 uppercase letters of something hidden.
And since there are exactly 4 letters encoded, the 5th character appears to be a "4". What a coincidence!
P.S.
Hint: If you're stuck, ask your TomTom for directions to the code!
