What RPG class you like the most and why?
depends on the game - in classic RPGs, aka turn based or with active pause I prefer stealthy long range approach - so Archer/hunter or ranger Rogue, while in action RPGs I usually prefer to go mele, as slaying hordes of monsters close up feels much better than nuking them from the distance :>
I generally dislike low-HP-low-Armor classes like Priests, Mages etc.

There are armored-up warriors, and then there are paladins. I really feel like Paladins need their own entry. But either way I'm with you: the paladins is almost always my first choice.
After that, perhaps a ranger (not to be confused with a rogue) or demon/monster hunter where such is available.

Paladin/Knight/Warrior - Anything like that.
Never played mages, elfs, druids, thieves, rogues, or anything like that, and I hate playing those.
I like the sword, shield and plate armor.

Thief.
Because of stealth and high % of critical hits.

Street samurai. I don't trust machines enough to put them in my body, so rigger and Decker are gone. I'm also not a big fan of magic, however, I am a big fan of running up to people and beating the crap out of them.
In most rpgs with normal classes, I pick rouge because I like the speed, agility, and proficiency with daggers. I also prefer to use stealth because it can allow me to complete a task without killing everyone, or allow me to deal with enemies one on one, where I actually have a chance at winning.

It's a toss-up between thief/rogue and archer. I enjoy staying out of the combat while still dealing damage from afar, but I also enjoy being sneaky and cunning. Hmm ...

i like being an archer.everybody is out there risking their lives and fighting head-on while i just stay back and shhot some arrows :D
rouge would be good too.again everybody rush to attack the enemy and when the enemy is distracted i sneak in and deliver a blow and then runaway and wait for another opportunity :D

Ideally I prefer the character that has the best speed. A character that I could perform amazing feats with, great mobility, great speed, be able to dodge enemy attacks and be able to run circles around the opponent while making a fool out of him or simply beat a gun with melee.
However each game has its own gameplay and its own mechanics which could make any character much more fun to play with than another. There were games where being the archer was much more fun than a ninja or a swordsman, while other games made the mage much more playable and fun than a close combat character or an archer. Some games can turn the healer into a really fun character that can both heal and do battle properly, it really depends on the game.
That said, I don't like generic MMORPGs(WoW and the like) and MOBAs(Dota and the like), those games don't give me the control that I want.

The "i dont know what i'm doing" class. It always end up as an archer.

Diablo 2 necromancer. I had summoner/necromancer as my favorite class for a really long time because of Diablo 2.

Really game-specific. In D&D types, usually like to go with a spellcasting class, mostly wizard over sorcerer/bard. Sometimes maybe a rogue-like.
In sci-fi or contemporary fantasy I prefer some sort of a sneaky thief/spy one who can blend in more and tries to rely on talk rather than combat.

Personally, I like the sneaky guys (rogues, thieves, ninjas...) or evil priests/dark wizards.
These classes usually look best, because I dig characters in robes and/or hoods <3 :D

I want to be a fair paladin but in reality im more a troll multi class thief/necromancer :-(

Priest, cleric or other support, preferably with healing that don't have to stay at the frontline. Otherwise, long ranged spellcasters. I am also the kind who saves stacks and stacks of potions from loot, annoying habit.

Self-explanatory title.
What class you like more?
This poll is intented to embrace every kind of RPG, ranging from the first of them, tabletop D&D, to WoW.
My favorite classes are a Knight-Paladin-like class and Druid. The Paladin-like is because I like the idea to protect others, healing, risking my life for the only purpose of serving justice. The Druid would be because I like a lot the relation this class have with nature, animals and magic.
If you don't find your favorite kind of character, specify it on the commends and tell why :)
tl;dr
