What some games call "spellsword" - tank without any utility other than holding aggro, but with damaging spells. If it's not possible, I pick warrior or mage. I prefer SP games with local-coop or in which you control a party instead of just one character.

PS: If you played Lineage 2, Shillien Knight - that's it.

As long as it has swords and deals a lot of damage I'm fine with it :3

That depends on the game.
If it's a single player game, I usually prefer the stealthy approach so I go with the rogue. If it's multiplayer/tabletop I prefer someone who can heal and buff the team - Cleric, Bard, whatever.
I also enjoy Druids just because I think the concept of magic relying on nature is cool.

I like to take the tanker role in whichever game I possibly have the ability to choose. Close ranged combat with lots of buffing and a good shield are my style (:
