Ps2 1080p monitor

Hello I was wondering if someone knows a trick to get PS2 look better on a 1080 monitor? I mean im experiencing worse image than what im seeing on youtube any ideas? And from what I understand those videos are not from emulators. Could there be a component cable that puts through a better image or something?

Only idea I can give is to pass signal through something which has better scaler...
