Thank for the steamgifts update.

I dont know if is posted anywhere but if you have a private profile you not longer lose your session. Only need to resync your profile if a week has passed. No more deactivating steamguard. No more checking email to get te security code. Much better update than polls.

... That wasn't to do with private profiles as far as I know (if you mean being logged out of SG) that is something to do with how your browser contacts SG and SG servers contact Steam Community servers.

I did not change my web browser.
Before when your profile desynced you were forced loggedout. Now keep logged in but all pages redirect to the sync page until you sync.
Before
Switch to public profile. do the steamguardthing, check the mail. steamgifts login.
After
Switch to public and press the sync button.

it kind of sounds like you were crying because you had to waste a few more minutes of your life to win games.
