Periodically I sweep my PC of anything I don't use (and even after said sweep my HDD for a total of 2TB are almost completely full), but some games do have a tendency to come back or resisting much more than other games.

Warcraft III, Diablo II, Age of Empires II, Rollercoaster Tycoon II. Basically, games that never age and are still my favorite games to this day. I also still play them a lot, even more than my other games.
Also a certain number of MP games but that's not for the same reason. Still, these are: Killing Floor, World of Tanks, Guild Wars, Just Cause 2 (when the MP beta is up).

Mainly favorite strategy games, because they never get old. I can play custome games or skirmish anytime I like.
C&C series, CoH, HoMM III and VI, R.U.S.E, Civ V, SupCom, Shogun 2, DoWII, Worms series, XCOM

For me it's Retro City Rampage and Far Cry 2. I don't think I could ever bring my self to uninstall them as they have earned a permanent spot on my hard disk.
