No giveaways because I wasted money on real stuff...

So this far:
Meater 2 - wireless meat thermometer
Sleeve for my laptop. (Which for some reason cost more than a backpack form Lenovo, go figure)
Beard trimmer, cheap one...
Bose QC SE headphones... You need 3 pairs of wireless headphones right?
And some not mentioned stuff.

Not really much at all.

A couple Olicamp pot lifters that were like 6 bucks each
120 ft of 1/4lb #36 tarred bankline which was like 8 bucks
Couple pumice stones for like 4 bucks
A Condor Large Huron Knife that was 80 bucks
And some games, most of which were paid for with already existing Steam wallet.

Nothing really wasted. Everything gets used/played.

Someone dedicated the cucumbers to me so I don't have to purchase them temporarily.

As storage prices hit a historical low in the recent months and I anticipated a significant price hike as Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron throttle production I bought a 4TB Gen4 NVME SSD for games.

Sale season? Oh right, you guys do black friday in november, in here it's during august.
Although cyber monday was last week I think, but I didn't buy anything.

Funny thing with cyber monday, a couple years ago when I bought all the parts to build my current pc. The prices where better on black friday then on cybermonday.

Doesn't surprise me, in here cyber monday is usually borderline a scam with how they raise the prices a few days before, the only actual good deal are the discounts over the total for the whole cart that the sites tend to offer since that's a set amount of money instead of a percentage.

That is a general tactic for black Friday in itself as well.

At least I was smart enough to order my items on friday and not gamble on the monday.
Managed to get some pretty good deals for it.

Bought a basic gaming laptop, a lenovo legion 5 pro, with a 4070 + i7 13700HX, 32GB RAM and 2TB nvme ssd. While it isn't good enough to run games at 4K due to the low VRAM, it manages to run games like Starfield and Hogwarts better than my rtx 3080 desktop at 1600p thanks to the magic of DLSS 3 frame generation. Happy with it so far. Frame gen is impressive enough that I'm almost tempted to upgrade to a 4080 desktop gpu, but maybe I should wait for the upcoming 4080 super instead 🤔

If we're talking strictly physical things, I bought a figure of Joshua from The World Ends With You. There were two listings for it on Amazon, and I took a chance on the one that looked like a knockoff listing because it was $12 (40%!) cheaper, because the actual seller looked legit, and because it was shipped by Amazon so I could send it back if it was a bootleg. It turned out to be the real deal, so I'm thrilled.

On the digital side...nothing yet. Been playing old Epic games I got for free and forgot I had, lol. But if FF7 Remake Intergrade goes on sale for its historical low, I'll finally snag it. I'm tired of waiting and I doubt Square Enix is going to come down any more on it any time soon, if at all. Plus the general hype for the upcoming second part is getting to me.

Bit the bullet and bought everything for a new PC. Got a nice bundle deal on RAM, mobo, and the CPU but everything else was pretty much MSRP. But hey, new computer!

Bose QC SE headphones... You need 3 pairs of wireless headphones right?

Hey, why did you have to go and make this personal? It's not an addiction!

Honestly, I've blown more on food than anything else. No new toys to speak of. I did spend a bit on someone else's behalf so they could take advantage of discounts available to me specifically, but they paid for that already.

Bit early, Black Friday didn't even start yet. But on my wachtlist are:
A fancy faucet for my kitchen
New set of smart radiator thermostats
A tool kit combo set from Wera
Two Sonos Era 300, if there is a decent discount somewhere.
Maybe a tablet. Of if I'm crazy enough a Surface. But that's probably something for later next year.

And maybe something else if a sweet deal should appear out of nowhere. I actually also had Meater on my shopping list, had no idea that a new generation is out. Sadly the airfryers aren't compatible with wired stuff. :(

Bought a bunch of movies on discs, mostly 4K blu-ray, or regular blu-ray if 4K wasn't available.
I like being able to watch the movies I want when I want without resorting to subscribing to a million streaming services or piracy. No streaming artifacts in fast moving scenes and better quality audio (w/4k discs) is also a plus.

Didn't give myself much freedom during all these sales and bought just: spare parts for my hand vacuum cleaner (battery, filters), pack of colours socks, 40xAAA batteries, Type C usb hub. In terms of gaming: bought Prey+Dishonored 2 bundle.
