Do you spend time and money to personalise your profile?

I only use backgrounds I get from crafting badges and I only craft badges for games I have completed. Usually I trade for those cards, so no expenses.
Now that I have all the season backgrounds from It's Spring Again I only have to change them every three months and customize my achievement showcase to fit the theme. It takes about 15 minutes :)

Well, I spent effort to make it look as plain as possible.

Spent like 6$ on the Long Live the Queen Trading cards .... and thats all kinda .
I liked the game , Way to much so i wanted the Badge .

Aside of that i think i bough 1 of my profile backgrounds for like 1$ and thats all the cash i ever spent on it :)

I've spent a (very) little money for my profile, I was bored and wanted to use icons to write my nickname, I've even left the "O" I've been using for christmas.

Eh, I just put there whatever I happen to have (and like). It took me Forever to write a simple description (and I haven't changed it since) so I don't exactly have much text. Achievement showcase since I'm an achievement hunter. A showcase for a game that I like. A badge that I think looks adorable. And I tended to switch between different badass looking backgrounds whenever the planets align but a friend gave me the Noire background so I'm sticking with that for now. :D

I spend extra card profits on emoticons, but nothing else.

I wanted to be one of the cool kids so I tried the emoticon box thing...
I make some badges I think look cool or would look nice together.
I am trying to get an emoticon alphabet and am 2 letters away.
Basically had free time.

I have fun messing with my profile. I try to change the background and game showcase to match the games I'm currently playing. At first I spent some money on cards for badges to get my level up, but I also trade bundle games for cards, sell back the booster packs I receive, and sometimes trade or sell cards dropped from one game to get cards for another. It doesn't have to be as expensive as it seems to get your level up.

I've made my profile Christmas-themed for the past couple of years once December comes around. I spent a small amount of money to do that - got a Secret Saxton to display, as well as a Sticker Christmas Girl and this snowflake. I combine those with anything Christmas-looking that I just happened to already have. Got some Winter slae backgrounds hanging around for example. That's it. After Christmas is done I either change my profile back to how it was before or change it around a bit using what I already have from the badges I made. I don't spend any more on it.

Why, yes, I do spend a considerable amount of money on customizing a virtual game account so that I can brag about it to my invisible friends, thank you very much. :)

I like personalising my profile, but mainly for myself to look at lol. Any badges and backgrounds I have it's all by selling my trading cards I gotten when playing games.

I put minimal effort into personalization when it comes to spending money. I occasionally farm for cards on those shitty Gleam giveaways, but I usually use that money to buy games (or go towards a game). If I buy a badge, it's for a game I like. As for backgrounds - I've been content with every background I've gotten from a crafted badge, so no need to buy them q:

Hell, during the Summer Sale, I used my card drop money to buy Blood: One Unit Whole Blood, Aliens Vs. Predators (2,000), and had about $0.50 to put towards Quake. So in this perspective, buying badges and backgrounds seems really silly x)
