Recently, Crysis 2 came back on steam after Valve and EA fought over things about DLC and other additions to the game. Since they resolved the Crysis 2 problem, should we be expecting Battlefield 3 on Steam? Could Valve and EA be friends again?

Yes? No? Maybe? Why?

No. I believe someone already quoted and explained the motive behind this. Simply EA greed resurfacing, nothing else.

Funny thing is, it's all started with Valve's greed...

Actually the irony is that it was Valve greed. Valve didn't agree that EA would sell DLC outside STEAM.

I guess Valve fanboys are like Apple fanboys, defending the company as if it's their own :)))

Probably not, but I hope it does. I hate Origin, but I'd love to play BF3.

No. At least I hope not. Bringing EA games back to Steam would delay EA's inevitable bankruptcy.

Then your not going to play one of the finest multiplayer games this gen , just because you want it on steam lol

Fuck EA, I want ME3 on Steam.

Definitely not. As has been stated, only reason Crysis 2 is back is because it's the maximum edition with all the DLC, because Origin/EA doesn't want Steam selling their DLC. So only EA games I could see coming to Steam are GOTY editions, or games that will never have DLC.

EA would be shooting themselves in the foot if they release BF3 / ME3 on Steam. For them it's best to keep them Origin exclusive at least for a while.

They will probably add BF3 or ME3 when the sales from those games are going really down.
EA loves money and adding those games to Steam would bring money but they would damage Origin if they would release the games on Steam now.

You will still need Origin regardless.

I guess Dragon Age II is returning too. Also interesting: "Dragon Age - EA Week" and "Dragon Age Franchise - Summer Sale".
