dnf and sanctum dlc's give away

The DNF DLC is completely understandable to be here. There's lots of people like myself who bought Borderlands and were automatically made part of the First Access Club. And many of these people don't have/don't plan to have DNF, and so they now have free DLC for a game that they don't have and they are choosing to give it away to someone who wants it. I don't know about you, but I think that seems pretty in-key with the purpose of the site.

I have no comment on Sanctum because I don't know the situation behind it.

Well, there was a couple parts to it if I remember correctly. First, it had to be the Borderlands: GOTY. Second, you had to use a cd key provided with the Borderlands: GOTY to join the FAC. And third, if you did those two then you should have received an email from Gearbox when the DLC came out with a link where you would go and once again use the cd key provided with Borderlands to get the DLC.
This all also applies if you pre-ordered DNF rather than bought Borderlands: GOTY.

In fact, it's more of a "greay area", not unlike the HIB extras.

I think the idea behind giving away the DNF DLC was to give you a reason to buy DNF (no one needs convincing of buying a GOTY), not that you give it away.

you should then be able to somehow hide certain games/dlc from showing up as giveaways...I got the DNF DLC and the Sanctum ones and its pretty annoying to scroll through a massive list of those when I dont need them.
